Off course she is viewed as “crazy” because he is such a good story teller, charmer, he’s the perfect one who did nothing wrong, no matter what he twisted the story around to be her fault . Yeah right. She was mentally emotional abused. It was all about revenge for him, he knew how important Savannah was to her, so that’s what he went for. You can’t understand her, if you never experienced a sociapath/narcissist trying to ruin your life and your child’s. It’s devastating. Emotionally/mentally drainjng.

TOMORROW NIGHT Saturday July 16th Dear Savanna will be aired on CBS 48 hours show at 10 pm.

I do believe Lee and also believe that what she did require courage greater than what most of us possess. Harris made his position as a Father quite clear when requesting the termination of the pregnancy. Our system is so flawed, to the extent to take a child from her Mom. Time has a way of revealing truth. The truth is, Harris’s false claims against Lee would have impacted his daughters life and he never cared. He cared for himself only and his possessions. I find it interesting that he wasn’t diagnosed with a label or two… I love that Savannah stood beside her Mom and made her a priority. God blessed Lee and her children in the end. Lee has her children, family and friends. Harris appears to have not lived at all. I don’t see that Savannah would have lived an enriched life if raised by her father. I am happy in my heart that Lee found strength to achieve her escape. Staying in Charleston, would have caused hell for Savannah created by one Harris…He would have never given her any peace. Lee fought and found her peace on the other side of the world. How many of us would lay down everything for our children. Very Christ like, I might say… I really do believe that God put his shield of protection around Mom and daughter…

I don’t believe Lee Barnett kidnapped her child! Are you kidding me? The system is corrupt and conspired with the father to steal the child. And that man (the father) makes my skin crawl. She tried to stay and make their marriage work believing that the man she loved would come around and grow to want and love the child. He obviously never did. And what women wouldn’t act half crazy at the thought that that sociopath may get custody of her 2 1/2 month old baby. I wish someone would prosecute the judge, the doctor, the father, the social service system and whoever took part in that sham of a trial. And the father is still trying to prosecute her and the family which proves he is only interested in revenge. Thank God Savannah didn’t grow up with that emotionless shell of man. And the prosecutor is still claiming that what they did was right! Do these right fighters ever go to bed at night and feel any remorse for ruining peoples lives for their own gain? Our justice system is a joke…..

1st Anniversary of my Shackles to Sunshine!!!!

From Shackles

Wow what a drastic change my life has had in the past year…. Shackles to Sunshine!!!

To my daughter Samantha and my son Reece, there could be no prouder mother in the world.  You lost and had to endure so much in the past 2- 1/2 years, the death of your dad, me to prison, your grandparents death, the loss of your family home, pets, financial and emotional security, the humiliation of what the past 20 years of press and the law enforcement system said about your mom, but all the while you held your heads high, displaying maturity and dignity way beyond your years!  Lets not forget kicking some serious Butts in the academics side of things! Thank you both for being you…I Love you guys more than life it’s self!!!

To all our friends around the world, your unconditional love and support of my children and me has been nothing short of remarkable!  Australian friends and support group your efforts have been miraculous, you know who you are and what you have done. We are so very lucky to know that the friendships we have forged will last a lifetime. Where would Sam Reece and I be without you all xoxo

Our loved ones here in the US and Belize thank you for never forgetting Sam and Me!  Your prayers followed us through our journey and kept us safe and your love has continued to do so since I have been brought back. Looking into the full courtrooms during my hearings and seeing it filled with familiar faces (just a bit older) filled my heart with happiness. To be reunited after 22 years is a gift beyond value. No words can express how I missed each and every one of you and how happy I am to be back in the arms of the people I had to walk away from.  My heart breaks for those who were lost since I left but warmed in the wonderful memories we all share. Each and every one of you was put through insurmountable difficulties because of my actions, I’m sorry, however that never swayed your support and love for us…. Incredible and Mind Blowing to say the least.

So here I am ONE year after my release… so many have said I have come so far (all with the help from family and friends), one day I hope to be as proud of what I have accomplish outside of prison as what I was able to accomplish prior to Prison, but for now I have to be content with fulfilling the goal I set as a mother, parent and human 22+ years ago for Savanna.

Colette Christensen Vick‪ So selfish that she gave up all she had and all her friends to protect her daughter, taken from her through a corrupt system. His $$ bought him the upper hand she was not crazy, she raised 2 well adjusted kids that love her and know that she loves them. You should hope you never have this happen in your life!
